SERVPRO of Jackson and DeKalb Counties has been named SERVPRO’s Alabama Franchise of the Year. The local SERVPRO earned the award by outperforming 38 other SERVPRO locations in Alabama.

Local owners Matt and Samantha Peterson accepted the award at a recent meeting of Alabama and Mississippi SERVPRO owners.

“It is extremely gratifying and humbling to win this award in only our second year of owning the Jackson and DeKalb County franchise,” Matt said. “It is truly a tribute to our team and everyone’s sense of doing the right things the right way for our customers.”

To win the award, SERVPRO of Jackson and DeKalb Counties recorded peak performance in the criteria of customer satisfaction surveys, job volume growth, emergency response times for water damage and fire damage, financial management and efficiency and adherence to Server’s business systems.

“Every day, our team lives by vision, experience, training, expertise and a passion for our customers,” Matt said. “Our SERVPRO Franchise of the Year award is not a destination for us. It’s just validation that we are on the right path.”

In 2013, SERVPRO of Jackson and DeKalb Counties recorded the second most successful year ever in the local franchise’s 14-year history.

All staff members are certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, the only nationally recognized organization for cleaning and restoration.

With offices in Scottsboro and Fort Payne, SERVPRO of Jackson and DeKalb Counties also serves customers in Cherokee County, plus Marion County in Tennessee.
